PRE-ORDER PANDEMONIUM!!

Hi friends,

I got a college education in comic book ordering from the lovely folks at both House of Secrets and The Perky Nerd today, and as such determined that if people want to get pre-orders in for Wanderland, they need to do it NOW.

What are pre-orders you ask?

THERE’S NO TIME, JUST DO IT!!! GO GO GO!!

to type in your zip code and find your nearest comic book retailer!

Step 2:
Call them today (AUGUST 18,) and ask if you can pre-order issues 1 and 2 of Welcome to Wanderland by BOOM! Studios, and use these links if they need more information to find it:

The Final Order Cutoff for issue 1 (which is the last day that retailers can change their orders) is this MONDAY AUGUST 20TH, so that’s the end of pre-orders for that issue full-stop. Some stores will still allow you to pre-order until that point, but some may not, so please BE NICE TO YOUR RETAILERS!!

TODAY AUGUST 18TH is the customer pre-order deadline for issue #2. If you call by today, you should have no problem, but you will have the opportunity with a lot of retailers to order until the Final Order Cutoff for issue 2. (I don’t have the info on that date yet.)

This is not your only chance to buy the book! Pre-orders are just good for sales. You can still ask your retailer to reserve a copy, or order from the BOOM! website, or online after release, but pre-ordering is a guarantee that you’ll get it, and is just very good for retailers and publishers (and me!)

Trust, me, I know this is a baffling system, I didn’t even fully understand it until today (still don’t…) I’m working on a cute, concise and entertaining way to explain why preorders are important, and how to do them, but I haven’t finished it yet and I didn’t know these deadlines were already here! Computer down!

As is the way of things, I'm dealing with catastrophic equipment failure at the worst possible time. Unfortunately, my hard drive is taking a dirt nap and is, as I type (on a hideous loaner,) being checked over by the data recovery specialists to see if they can get any of my precious data back. Including, but not limited to, all the content for my new website. So, I appreciate your patience for bearing with me in this troubling time.
